We all need time to reassess where we are in the world and what steps we need to figure out next for both our personal and work life. Team building days in carving, weaving, stitching or woodcut printing allow staff to learn a new skill alongside their colleagues but not relating to their everyday role and duties. This gives staff a chance to engage in skills and conversations that arising about the artefact they are learning about and often facilitates new conversations within the staff team. These new conversations help staff look at the person they are working with and not the role that they are ascribed within the workforce. Relating to a colleague in this manner brings new insights and possible friendships helping staff both individuals and as a team.  Our workshops help build confidence and rapport in your team as everyone gets an opportunity to learn some new craft skills in a relaxing environment.

With you, we will tailor an experience day to suit your team. Often teams will be in groups 6-12 employees depending on the activities. Choose one or more crafts e.g. Spoon Carving, Woodcut Printing, or Slow Stitching. We will work with you to hire the right venue appropriate for your team.

We provide all the tools and materials for all activities. 

Generally we offer weekday events.

Group sizes are 6-12 depending on the craft or number of instructors. The prices are £80-£170 pp, depending on the duration of activities, number of people and type of craft. We are happy to tailor an experience that’s just right for your team.
